Rehabilitation Therapy for your pets Health, Wellness and Mobility

Who we are:

Jeanette von Mehlem, RVT, CCRP -  is a graduate of Seneca Colleges Veterinary Technican Program and is an experienced registered veterinary technician (RVT). Jeanette has completed her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Program (CCRP) designation at the University of Tennessee. Her integrative and caring approach will be an asset and complement to her patients regular veterinary care.

Dr Shana Halfon, DVM, VSMT - a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College and the Canadian Animal Chiropractic/Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Certification Program via the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Center as of March 2016 and is also a member of the College of Animal Chiropractors.  Treatment involves adjustments specific to the anatomy of the joint, helping to restore normal movement and reduce pain.

The goal of veterinary rehabilitation is to decrease pain and improve balance and strength of our canine and feline companions.  Veterinary rehabilitation consists of specific exercises geared to the individual patient with a variety of modalities which help to improve, preserve and maximize mobility.   By working closely with the pet owner and referring veterinarian we are able to reach our combined goals and improve the pets quality of life and overall well-being. Rehabilitation therapy is ideal for any pet recovering from surgery, has an injury, has osteoarthritis or even looking to imporove their overall fitness!

We encourage you to visit our dedicated website to find out more about our underwater treadmill, laser therapy, muscle building, endurance and more!

*Non Client appointments are by referral only from your veterinarian. Forms can be found below*
